The Halcyon Resort is located on a beachfront on Antigua, just seven miles from V.C. Bird International Airport, and four miles away from St. John's. This resort is set on several acres of tropical gardens and situated directly on the white sands of the island's finest beach - Dickenson Bay. All of the hotel's spacious guest rooms are fully air- conditioned and equipped with a patio or a balcony. The standard and superior rooms usually have a view of the garden. The deluxe category rooms and the suites have a refrigerator and cable TV. The all-inclusive rate includes a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, the house wine, a variety of cocktails, and locally bottled beers, spirits and soft drinks. The activities include windsurfing, sunfish sailing, snorkeling, and kayaking. Daily activities include volleyball, water aerobics, beach cricket, tennis daytime tennis, and indoor games. There is also a children's club with supervised activities for kids 4-12 years. Guests can enjoy drink from a variety of outlets, including a beachfront bar, and a lounge that offers evening entertainment.
