The Georgian Hotel is a completely non-smoking hotel located in the heart of the seaside community of Santa Monica. It is strategically located 8 miles north of the Los Angeles International Airport. Originally named The Lady Windermere, the Georgian Hotel was built as an intimate hideaway nestled in the once heavily-wooded shoreline of the oceanside resort for members of Los Angeles' high society. In 1933, the Georgian opened its door to the rich, famous and infamous. Today, the Georgian has established itself as a landmark fixture in Santa Monica, offering a glimpse of the community's past.

The Georgian Hotel is giving their classic elevator a face lift. From March 7, 2005 through May 2, 2005, there will be one elevator working.
